A vibrant Celtic language spoken across Wales, UK. There are Welsh-language schools, bands, websites, radio stations and a TV channel called S4C. Welsh is an official language of the UK. Dating back to the 6th century, Welsh is on the same branch of the Celtic languages as Cornish and Breton.
